Level 8

Went to celebrate the homie Ramil’s birthday last Saturday at Level 8 inside the Moxy Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. I’ve always passed by it on my way to the Staples Center Crypto.com Arena and shit always looked like it was poppin.

I wasn’t really expecting anything too crazy just a standard night out with your people. But there was one attraction there that will absolutely bring me back to it again.

For those that don’t know I’m a huge wrestling fan. Watched WWF WWE since a child. My favorite wrestlers are 1a.) The Undertaker 1b.) Shawn Michaels. Sometime in mid 2010s I used to be a cohost on a wrestling podcast with my buddy OJ called Shoot Sessions (I still think this name was fucking genius).

Obviously I didn’t really get a good view because the damn ring is above the bar but still. Also it had been raining earlier in the day so our original section was moved next to the ring which kind of worked out.

One thing I will say though is that the drinks are super expensive. I ordered a Stone IPA in a can at the bar at it came out to $17. WTF
