Hype Sessions

I’ve been working a lot this year at Hype Studios LA with my boy Jed Said and he invited me to this event that the studio was hosting called Hype Sessions. He kind of just described it as a bunch of musicians getting together and getting a chance to play some of their music for everyone there.

Despite still being wrecked from Coachella I pulled up. Glad I did because these was a mix of every kind of artist/producer in the building. Several EDM artists, R&B artists, rappers/hip hop artists, etc. Everyone was really dope and it gave us all a chance to meet other studio artists in a way we probably would never have been able to without such an event.

No matter how seasoned you are in the music industry you’re always a little but vulnerable whenever you decide to play your music in front of strangers so I applaud everyone who shared their finished and unfinished works.

Special thanks for Augie Ray, owner of Hype Studios LA, for putting on the event.

Come to the next one and maybe you’ll get a sneak peak at the music myself and Jed Said have been working on.
